Thadaka Music Review

Time:05:00 am Date: May 09, 2013

Film: Thadaka

Starring: Naga Chaitanya,Sunil,Tamanna,Andrea Jeremiah

Director: Kishore Kumar Pardasani

Producer: Bellamkonda Suresh

Banner: Sri Sai Ganesh Productions

Music: Thaman

Sunil, Naga Chaitanya teamed up for this multistarrer film Thadaka, the remake of Tamil hit Vettai. Andrea Jeremiah and Tamanna paired up with leads in this commercial entertainer directed by Dolly and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh. The makers have utilized the services of Thaman for the soundtrack and let’s checkout the Thadaka Music Review…

1. Nuvvu Nenu Bomma -- 3.5/5

First up is ‘Nuvvu Nenu Bomma..’ seems to be the introduction number describing the beautiful relation between the two brothers. The words penned by Bhaskarbhatla meaningful and a plus point of the track. While Thaman’s composition is high on energy and beats, it's an out and out entertaining number giving scope for dances from the leads.

2. Viyyalavaru -- 3/5

Singers:Neeti Mohan, Suraj, MM.Manasi

Lyricist:Ramajogaya Sastry

The second track in the album is Viyyalavaru, a fun before wedding number sung by Neeti Mohan, Suraj, MM.Manasi. It has a folk touch traditional beats but Thaman keeps the element of fun and naughtiness intact. Shot on all the four leads, it sure to be a visual feast and lyrics are fun.

3. Subhanallah – 2.75/5

Singers:Karthik,Priya Himesh

Lyricist:Ramajogaya Sastry

Next up is Subhanallah which has surprisingly Punjabi style. Karthik, Priya Himesh crooned with high spirits however, the song doesn’t work and looked old fashioned. Ramajogaya Sastry lyrics are nothing to boast of and the song is just a passable number. Let’s see if it can impress with visuals.

4. Mara O Mara – 3/5

Singers: Suchith Suresan, MM.Manasi

Lyricist: Ramajogaya Sastry

Mara O Mara is classy romantic duet with a mix of western beats shot on the beach locales on Naga Chaitanya and Tamanna. Lyrics have a mix of Telugu and Hindi words while the tune is quite catchy with singers doing a good job. Despite few references to Thaman’s earlier tracks, Mara O grabs your attention. A good listen!!!

5. Gana Gana Bottu – 3.25/5

Singers: Haricharan,Priyadharshini

Lyricist:Ramajogaya Sastry

Here comes a typical Thaman’s mass composition. Gana Gana.. is high on mass beats giving much scope for the dances. Haricharan has crooned with needed energy while Priyadharshani supported him well; the tune is addictively catchy and is expected to make a good watch on-screens.

Final Verdict

Thadaka album has a couple of energetic foot-tapping numbers in Thaman’s typical style while Mara O Mara is for the classy music lovers, and Viyyalavaru is expected to impress with visuals but the chances of the album topping the charts is quite less. All in All, Thadaka is not an album that stays for long though it’s not totally bad either.
