Music maestro Ilayaraja, the highly talented veteran music composer is celebrating his Birthday today, on June 2, 2012.

Ilayaraja born in 1943 as Gnanadesikan is celebrating his 69th birthday today, in his home town along with his family members. The king of music has started his industry career in 1976 and has given thousands of chartbusters in almost five languages so far Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada to name a few.

Ilayaraja is currently working for two bilingual films with director Gautham Menon and the other for producer-actress Lakshmi Manchu’s Gundello Godari featuring Aadhi, Lakshmi Manchu and Taapsee in the lead roles. Nani and Samantha starrer Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu is one of them being directed by Gautham Menon and the director is launching a special audio of YVM today, on the occasion of Ilayaraja’s birthday.
