Evergreen Tollywood classic movie ‘Gundamma Katha’ which was released on June 7th 1962 has completed 50 years of the release today. The film remained as one of the greatest classics of all time.

The multistarrer film Gundamma Katha had the two biggest legendaries NT Rama Rao and Akkineni Nageswara Rao as male leads while the extremely talented actresses Savitri and Jamuna in the female lead roles. Gundamma Katha is 100^th film of NTR as the lead hero.

SV Ranga Rao, Chayadevi, Ramana Reddy played the prominent roles while the title role of the film Gundamma was essayed by actress Suryakantham brilliantly and proved that she was irreplaceable.

Kamalakara Nageswara Rao directed the film and B.Nagireddy, Chakrapani produced it. Ghantasala composed music was one of the highlights of the film and the mellifluous songs were remembered till date. This landmark film of TFI remained in the hearts of all the movie lovers even today…
