Rajinikanth along with his family members watched the Gabbar Singh film and Rajinikanth is said to have thoroughly enjoyed the movie and referred Gabbar Singh as a perfect mass entertainer also commending the performance of Power Star Pawan Kalyan.

Harish Shankar directed Gabbar Singh with Shruti Haasan as the leading lady has turned out to be a blockbuster hit not just in AP but also in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Overseas. The film is still running super strong at the Box-Office with packed houses.
