on Nov 16, 2013

2013 has started off with some exciting commercially successful films like SVSC and Naayak and it continued with Mirchi, Baadshah and Attarintiki Daredi making big-business at the box-office.

With Attarintiki Daredi on a record-setting spree and turning out to be new industry hit, there has been lots of curiosity on the new list of Tollywood Top 10 list grossers.

Way2movies brings you the list of top 10 Tollywood grossers movies of all time considering the domestic and overseas collections.

Top 1: Attarintiki Daredi

After a couple of release postponements due to Samaikyandhra agitation and a sudden first half footage leak hitting by piracy, Attarintiki Daredi has faced several troubles pre-release. But Attarintiki Daredi broke all possible records in its collection with 75 Crores plus share, surpassing the collections of 2009 release Rajamouliís magnum opus Magadheera. SS Rajamouli has also congratulated the AD team for turning new industry hit.

Pawan Kalyanís star power and his enormous fan following were one of the reasons for massive opening collections, but the classy family entertainer has some of the remarkable performances from Nadhiya, Boman Irani, Rao Ramesh, Samantha, Brahmanandam other than Pawan Kalyan. Trivikram Srinivas has created the magic and has brought back big-budget family entertainers back on track.

Top 2: Magadheera

Rajamouli, Ram Charanís combo Magadheera has been unbeatable for four long years at the box-office. Released on July 31, 2009, the historical drama has created wonders surprising the trade pundits with a long run in theaters. Ram Charan has made his mark in Tollywood with this film.

Despite no grand scale releases like the current trend of 1100 plus screens, Magadheera has easily pulled off collections beating Pokiri share 36 Crores, which was then the highest. Magadheera went on to collect 72 Crores share and this one film made Bollywood critics notice Tollywood films.

After enjoying the top place for 4 long years, Attarintiki Daredi has finally surpassed Magadheera collections, not to forget the hiked ticket prices. However, Magadheera remains as milestone film for Tollywood.

Top 3: Gabbar Singh

Pawan Kalyanís Gabbar Singh that received superb response on its first day has set the cash registers ringing at the Box-office. Despite not so good hits in the recent years, Pawan Kalyan always managed to bag massive openings and when the film garners hit talk on Day 1, the records-setting spree has begun.

Apart from Pawan Kalyan, this Dabangg remake has earned good marks for director Harish Shankar and actress Shruti Hassan. Devi Sri Prasadís music is an additional asset for the film.

Power Star Pawan Kalyanís Gabbar Singh has proved his stamina at the Box-Office joining the 60 Crores club share. This movie at its time was second highest grossing movie worldwide and the fastest 50 Crores collected Telugu film.

Top 4: Dookudu

Super Star Mahesh Babuís Dookudu which has set the new trend of releasing in maximum number of theaters has collected big in AP as well as overseas. Dookudu has surpassed the overseas collections of Magadheera in a short span and it showed the range of Telugu films in overseas market. Dookudu has collected magnanimous whopping share of 52 Crores plus.

The big-budget star films post Dookudu followed the similar strategy of bagging record number of screens for release.

Top 5: Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu

Ever since SVSC film has been announced, the expectations were huge since itís the combo of two star heroes Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu. Nearly after 25 years, two top stars have teamed up and with such hype, the film has managed to join 50 Crores club at the box-office.

Though SVSC havenít had its dream run in the state, the overseas collections were quite good for this clean family entertainer and it helped in SVSC reaching a slot in Top 5.

Top 6: Mirchi

Prabhasís Mirchi stands at Top 6 Position with a share of 47 Crores. The Young Rebel Star enjoys a good fan base and with Mirchi, Prabhas has turned hot favorite to many. Teaming up with a debutant director, Prabhas has scored smashing it with Mirchi making itself to join 40 Crores club.

Koratala Siva has showcased Prabhas in a new dimension in a most handsome look in the mass action entertainer, which worked well at the Box-Office. Mirchi is Prabhasís highest grossed film and the expectations on his magnum opus Baahubali are sky high.

Top 7: Naayak

Ram Charan, VV Vinayakís mass entertainer Naayak released along with SVSC for Pongal managed to collect a share of 46 Crores. Ram Charanís dances, Kajal-Amala Paulís glamour, Posani, Jayaparkash Reddyís comedy, VV Vinayakís direction resulted in Naayak being one of the best grossers.

Top 8: Baadshah

Young Tiger NTRís Baadshah which was released worldwide on a grand scale has reached upto expectations thereby collecting 46.23 Crore share and is Young Tigerís highest collected film till date. NTR has managed to bag excellent openings proving his Box-Office stamina and Baadshah did well at domestic and international market.

Top 9: Racha

Ram Charan starrer Racha directed by Sampath Nandi is a commercially successful film that has made a worldwide share of 44.67 crs. It was Ram Charanís comeback film after a disastrous Orange movie. Despite the film earning few poor review, Racha went on to join 40 Crores club with mass audiences lapping it up.

Top 10: Eega

Rajamouliís sci-fi extravaganza Eega is a pride of Telugu Cinema that has got Nation wide critical acclaim. With no star actors as leads, the film went on to shake Box-Office records. Eega stands in 10th position on the list with 43 Cr share.

Records are meant to be broken and we hope the upcoming big-budget films Mahesh Babuís 1 Nenokkadine, Ram Charanís Yevadu, NTRís Rabhasa, Prabhasís Baahubali, Allu Arjunís Race Gurram, Pawan Kalyanís Gabbar Singh 2 et al will set new benchmarks at the Box-office beating the previous recordsÖ
