Tollywood Box-Office this week!

Tollywood Box-Office this week! - Exclusive

on Nov 19, 2010

Fridays are said to be colorful days at Box-Offices, since the new releases are mostly scheduled for Friday. However, this Friday left us dry with just 1 release and that too, not a straight Telugu film. Harry Potter 7 is the only dubbed version film hitting the screens this week with 125 prints in 145 theaters across AP.

As per the trade reports, the Tollywood Box-Office ends off with poor collections, this week. There are certainly no films to be watched this week. Kalyan Ram’s Kalyanram Kathi and Varun Sandesh’s Emaindi Ee Vela which were released on the last Friday failed to grab the high collections on the opening day itself since both the heroes were not in the form as their previous films being disasters. While KalyanRam Kathi has grabbed attention from few mass centers with its action sequences, Varun Sandesh’s ‘Emaindi Ee Vela’ which is said to be youthful entertainer started off very poorly in A centers too.

The next Friday sees a most-awaited big release, ‘Orange’ starring Ram Charan Tej and Genelia with high expectations. The fans are waiting for the film eagerly to watch it to the earliest. Ram Charans last film ‘Magadheera’ being a block-buster hit, Director Bhaskar’s 100% success rate in previous films, ‘Orange’ coming from mega banner, ‘Anjana Productions’, Genelia-Bhaskar’s last combo Bommarillu being a successful hit are few things behind the audiences excitement.

According to the trade reports, small producers have stepped their films back since Orange is being released and the producers are not willing to take a chance by locking horns with this high budgeted romantic entertainer. However, Orange will be followed by the releases of Venky’s ‘Nagavalli’,RGV’s ‘Rakta Charitra2’ and Nagarjuna's Ragada. So, apart from this Friday, the coming Fridays brings you few rocking films of big stars.

We need to wait for the coming Friday to see the huge opening collections at the Tollywood Box-Office.
