Andrea Jeremiah and Tamanna paired up with leads in this commercial entertainer directed by Dolly and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh. The makers have utilized the services of Thaman for the soundtrack and let’s checkout the Thadaka Music Review…

1. Nuvvu Nenu Bomma -- 3.5/5

Singers:Tippu,Ranjith,

Lyricist:Bhaskarbhatla

First up is ‘Nuvvu Nenu Bomma..’ seems to be the introduction number describing the beautiful relation between the two brothers. The words penned by Bhaskarbhatla meaningful and a plus point of the track. While Thaman’s composition is high on energy and beats, it's an out and out entertaining number giving scope for dances from the leads.

2. Viyyalavaru -- 3/5

Singers:Neeti Mohan, Suraj, MM.Manasi

Lyricist:Ramajogaya Sastry

The second track in the album is Viyyalavaru, a fun before wedding number sung by Neeti Mohan, Suraj, MM.Manasi. It has a folk touch traditional beats but Thaman keeps the element of fun and naughtiness intact. Shot on all the four leads, it sure to be a visual feast and lyrics are fun.

3. Subhanallah – 2.75/5

Singers:Karthik,Priya Himesh

Lyricist:Ramajogaya Sastry

Next up is Subhanallah which has surprisingly Punjabi style. Karthik, Priya Himesh crooned with high spirits however, the song doesn’t work and looked old fashioned. Ramajogaya Sastry lyrics are nothing to boast of and the song is just a passable number. Let’s see if it can impress with visuals.

4. Mara O Mara – 3/5

Singers: Suchith Suresan, MM.Manasi

Lyricist: Ramajogaya Sastry

Mara O Mara is classy romantic duet with a mix of western beats shot on the beach locales on Naga Chaitanya and Tamanna. Lyrics have a mix of Telugu and Hindi words while the tune is quite catchy with singers doing a good job. Despite few references to Thaman’s earlier tracks, Mara O grabs your attention. A good listen!!!

5. Gana Gana Bottu – 3.25/5

Singers: Haricharan,Priyadharshini

Lyricist:Ramajogaya Sastry

Here comes a typical Thaman’s mass composition. Gana Gana.. is high on mass beats giving much scope for the dances. Haricharan has crooned with needed energy while Priyadharshani supported him well; the tune is addictively catchy and is expected to make a good watch on-screens.

Final Verdict

Thadaka album has a couple of energetic foot-tapping numbers in Thaman’s typical style while Mara O Mara is for the classy music lovers, and Viyyalavaru is expected to impress with visuals but the chances of the album topping the charts is quite less. All in All, Thadaka is not an album that stays for long though it’s not totally bad either.

Lyrics: Krishna Chaitanya

Anup Rubens starts off with the title song Gunde Jaari Gallanthayindhe and the tune is catchy while Krishna Chaitanya’s lyrics are simple yet beautiful. Tu Hi Rey -- 3.5/5

Singers: Nikhil D Souza and Nithya Menon

Lyrics: Krishna Chaitanya

Singer: Ramki

It is well-known fact that Eemaindi Emo Ee Vela song from Tholi Prema is a sensational hit and it remained evergreen favorite to all the Power Star fans till date. The song has been remixed and Ramki sung the version. It starts of with amazing beats but ends up as a sheer disappointment. The music is okay but the singer does a poor job. It is understandable that it’s very tough to match SP Balasubramanyam’s vocal but the remix version has lost its magic!!! Well, hope Nithin impresses with the visuals.

Final Say

Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe manages to make a fine album but the only stroke that ruins the soundtrack is the Tholi Prema remix track, which is disappointing. ]]> 0 <![CDATA[Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum Music Review]]> 2012-10-13 09:52:46 aditya Mani Sharma who has recently composed a decent album Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu has now come up with another soundtrack that looks promising though lacks in melody a bit. The album has traces of Bollywood hit number "Emotional atyachaar" in one of the songs.

The soundtrack has seven songs including one instrumental version. Hemachandra, Shravan Bhargavi and Sai Madhav Burra have sung two songs, while Narendra Shreya Ghoshal, Rahul, Deepu, S.P Balasubramanyam, Chaitra, Raghu Babu and Joanna have sung one song each.

The first song in the album, "Ararey pasi manasaa" is a heroine-worship song by Narendra and Shravan Bhargavi. Although this number has a good mix of instruments ranging from dhol to strings to synthesizer, the song doesn't have a catchy tune to attract attention. Lyrics by Sirivennela are apt to the context of the song.

"Sye andre nannu" is energetically crooned by Shreya Ghoshal, Rahul and Deepu. The opening of the song is very catchy, but what follows sounds like a typical item number with mass-appealing lyrics by E.S Murthy.

The title track "Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum" has traces of Hans Zimmer's original score from "The Dark Knight". With powerful lyrics by Sirivennela and featuring voice of S.P Balasubramanyam, this number undoubtedly qualifies as the best song of the album. Together, they elevate this number to an all new level.

The orchestrated recurring background score is brilliantly carried forward by some inspiring Sanskrit lines. Mani intermittently uses a few instruments such as trumpet, strings, drums and pads.

"Spicy spicy girl", crooned by Hemachandra, Chaitra and Shravana Bhargavi, is a passable duet number with irritating English lyrics, occasionally played throughout. Mani has mixed music from many of his past albums and reproduced this song with a dash of western touch.

The fifth number in the soundtrack "Ranga marthanda" is a bad rip off of "Emotional atyachaar" from "Dev D". The song may appeal visually because it features the voice of comedian Raghu Babu, but it definitely doesn't impress when listened to.

"Chal chal chal", crooned by Sai Madhav Burra, has traces of the famous number "Eye of the tiger" from "Rocky". The opening few lines of the song sound so very close to the original number from the Hollywood hit film. This is another number from the soundtrack that barely impresses even for a second.

The last song "Parinamam" is a seven-minute-long instrumental version of the title track that may serve as the film's background theme.

<![CDATA[Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu music review ]]> 2012-09-27 11:39:59 content Power Star Pawan Kalyan, Puri Jagannadh combination film Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu audio has hit the markets and Mani Sharma provided the music. Pawan Kalyan’s previous film Gabbar Singh was a super blockbuster and a musical hit too and now, let’s find out how is the music of CMGR which is hitting the screens on October 18 for Dussera… Checkout the music review of Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu on way2movies.com

1. Theme Song --- 3/5

Singers: Hemachandra, Karunya, Narendra, Chorus

Lyricist: Bhaskarbhatla

Unlike many albums CMGR opens off with Theme song. The tune is catchy but not refreshing though as it has the instances of Prabhas Billa song. Bhaskarbhatla’s lyrics elevate the main lead’s character which works for the track. Singers Hemachandra, Karunya, Narendra have done the good job with their powerful crooning. Rather than the audio, such songs create strong impact with the video.

2. Pillani Chuste -- 3.25/5

Singers: Karunya, Chaitra

Lyricist: Bhaskarbhatla

Karunya and Chaitra go behind the mike for this peppy number which is a typical Mani Sharma number. Pillani Chuste is the mix of western and mass beats that has a scope for dance. Bhaskarbhatla’s lyrics will gel with the masses. Well, let’s wait to watch how Pawan Kalyan and Tamanna impress us on-screen…

3. Jaramochindi -- 3/5

Singers: Kushi Murali, Shravana Bhargavi

Lyricist: Bhaskarbhatla

Jaramochindi is the item song of the film and has the potential to reach the masses. Lyrics are a bit funny and the song could stay longer with the listeners provided it impresses with the picturisation. Mani Sharma has composed it as a fast paced number with the folk touch and heavy drum beats giving scope for more dance moves. Shravana Bhargavi is totally impressive.

4. Extraordinary -- 3.5/5

Singers: Hemachandra

Lyricist: Bhaskarbhatla

Next up is a western beats with traditional beats touch song Extraordinary with Hema Chandra behind the mike. Hema Chandra did an extraordinary job which has blended really well with a fresh composition sung. Bhaskarbhatla has penned the lyrics, and he has done his job well with a unique thought highlighting the word Extraordinary. However, the picturisation of the song makes more impact.

5. Melikalu --- 3/5

Singers: Narendra, Geetha Madhuri

Lyricist: Bhaskarbhatla

Next on the playlist is Melikalu that has a mix of western with electronic beats, which is a lift from ‘Riva Riva Rivala Matha..’ number. Very entertainingly composed number and both the singers Narendra, Geetha Madhuri delivered their best. The beats are peppy and have the scope for dance.

6. Thaladinchaku -- 3/5

Singers: Karunya, Hemachandra, Srikrishna, Narendra

Lyricist: Bhaskarbhatla

The message conveying song which seems to occur during the peak situation in the story. Bhaskarbhatla penned powerful words while ManiSharma’s tune is not innovative and lacks influence. Karunya, Hemachandra, Srikrishna, Narendra did an okay job.

Final Say

Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu [CMGR] has a peppy and entertaining numbers that go well with the youth and masses. But Mani Sharma’s tunes aren’t refreshing or innovative as it reminds you of his past works or other popular beats. However, the choice of singers is apt who have breathed life into the otherwise not so refreshing compositions. CMGR album will stay longer with the listeners if the picturisation is impressive. Give a listen!!!
